Formulas (Dextrose % = g per 100 mL):

GIR (mg/kg/min) = Rate (mL/h) × Dextrose % ÷ (6 × Weight in kg)
Rate (mL/h) = Target GIR × 6 × Weight ÷ Dextrose %
Dextrose % = Target GIR × 6 × Weight ÷ Rate (mL/h)
